Beef can be purchased by the cut at the Farm Stand open year. We have a variety of cuts like ribeyes, New Yorks, fajita mix, stew meat, sirloin steaks, roasts, brisket, ribs, tri tip, ground, snack sticks, and more!
We also offer quarters and halves that are sent to butcher monthly.
1/4 beef are standard cut and will be picked up from the farm stand.
1/2 beef can be custom cut.
$6.10lb hanging weight plus cut wrap fees
Quarters $300 deposit/ Halves $600 deposit, remainder of balance due at time of butcher
Standard cut - Approximately 1/3 ground 1/3 steaks/ribs 1/3 roasts
Quarter Example- 625lbs hanging weight divided by 4 quarters = 156.25lbs
156.25lbs x $6.10lb = $953.12
Yield is approx. 70-75% of hanging weight- approx. 115lbs
PLUS approx. cut and wrap fees $160
= $1,113.12 total
Expect quarter beef total costs to be $980-$1400 depending on the size of steer. Fits in a 7 cubic foot freezer.
Half beef are available Standard cut, or custom cut. Custom cut yields and costs can very greatly based on your instructions to the butcher. Average half hanging weight is around 300- 400lbs. $600 deposit required to make a reservation. Price can vary from $1960- $2800+.
